You think progress means having results money, clients, audience, network.
Those are just the tip of the iceberg.
The real progress is who you were a year ago versus who you are now.
Don’t get me wrong all of those results are great to have. But they’re not the only progress that counts.
I still remember my old self I would start something and quit within a week. Now I chase everything I want to complete like my life depends on it.
That’s progress.
You can measure the same thing for yourself. Ask what would my old self do in this situation?
The answer will surprise you. Because you overlook this kind of progress without realizing it.
Another example I used to stop working the moment it got boring. Now I don’t stop until I make it happen.
That’s progress too.
Everything you see as progress that you haven’t achieved yet it’s not because you don’t deserve it. It’s because you’re not yet the person who can have it.
Let that sink in.
Making progress means changing yourself first. Then everything else follows.
